The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) USA Chapter, Prof. Adesegun Labinjo, has expressed heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Borno State over the recent devastating flood disaster. In a message to Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum, Labinjo empathized with the victims, residents, and the Shehu of Borno, His Highness Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanem.
Labinjo assured the people of Borno that they are not alone, offering prayers and sympathies as they face this natural disaster. He commended federal and state emergency agencies, NGOs, and individuals providing support and relief efforts in the affected communities.
The flood has displaced thousands, damaging properties and submerging 70% of Maiduguri, including key locations like the palace of the Shehu of Borno, state secretariat, and University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.
